No members of the public spoke during the hearing, and Council closed the hearing before voting to adopt the budget under Resolution R123-2025. The adoption carried with five yes votes from Councilmembers Yerkes, Harris, Bennett, Brown and Del Borrello (who participated by telephone).
The vote occurred as part of the council's regular meeting at the municipal building at 523 Egg Harbor Road. Council also approved the bill list for the meeting and three sets of minutes (regular and executive meeting minutes of April 23 and the public budget meeting of April 30) by unanimous votes earlier in the evening.
Mayor DellaPia and Business Administrator Mr. Russo were present for the meeting; Township Deputy Clerk Barbara Moore recorded the roll call. The council did not disclose budget line-item debate in the public hearing; the transcript records the formal opening, a lack of public comment and the subsequent adoption.
The council scheduled its next regular meeting for May 28, 2025.
