During the Dec. 10 meeting the Teaneck Board of Education approved a slate of personnel actions, accepting resignations and approving appointments and temporary hires.
Among the actions, the board approved the appointment of Ronson Johnson as Chief of Safety & Residency Services for the district at a pro‑rated salary of $104,000, effective Dec. 15, 2025, through June 30, 2026, listed as a replacement appointment on the agenda. The board also approved several school safety officer appointments (Rashon Mack, Nicholas Dasaro and others) at specified hourly rates and approved leave‑replacement teachers and substitute principals where indicated on the personnel list.
Resolutions were moved by Board Member Kassandra Reyes and seconded by Jonathan Rodriguez and passed by roll‑call vote. The minutes note that agenda items were submitted by district staff (Ms. Jones) and list motion and vote tallies for each personnel block. The board recorded regret on the acceptances of certain resignations.
The personnel approvals included standard contingencies such as fingerprinting and medical clearance where required for specific placements and noted alignment with the TTEA bargaining agreement for stipend and per‑diem items.
