Council tables $10,000 ARPA proposal to seal two downtown parking lots

The St. Clair City Council on an agenda item that would use up to $10,000 in American Rescue Plan Act funds to seal two downtown parking lots tabled the proposal for further review.

A staff member urged the council to move quickly to seal the last two lots, saying bids were being collected and that the project likely would cost less than the $10,000 cap. "We would really like to get these last 2 parking lots sealed, and we need to do it quickly," the staff member said, adding that Jason was working on bids.
