The Swedesboro-Woolwich Board of Education’s personnel committee presented a slate of personnel recommendations at the April 29 meeting.
Items listed for board approval (moved Baker/Riley) included multiple resignations with effective dates (Haylee Dawson June 12, 2026; Keri DeLorenzo April 10, 2026; Nicole Collins June 18, 2026; Alli Horn June 18, 2026), the retirement of Maria Sohn effective June 30, 2026, and medical/maternity leaves for identified staff with return dates specified where available.
New hires and staffing actions listed include a part-time custodian (Thomas Humphries) at $18.00 per hour pending completion of required paperwork effective April 30, 2026; daily substitute Danielle Beety at $135 per day (pending paperwork); and a new Speech/Language Specialist, Alyssa Bononcini, at $62,205 (MA, Step 5), with a start date of September 1, 2026. Several other staffing logistics (stipends, workshops and professional development scheduling) were also presented later in the agenda.
The minutes present these items as recommended for approval by the Personnel & Finance Committee. Where specific vote tallies for individual personnel items are not separately tabulated in the minutes, the items were placed on the board agenda for approval consistent with normal board procedure.
