The Swedesboro-Woolwich Board of Education approved a package of operational service contracts and a physician appointment at its April 29 meeting.
The board approved appointing South Jersey School Doctors, LLC as the district’s physician of record for the remainder of the 2025-26 year and for 2026-27. The recommendation appeared as item H on the agenda.
The board approved a Nutri-Serve Food Management contract for the 2026-27 school year (the third year of a five-year agreement). Minutes list a district cost of $741,541.61 for the fiscal year, a management fee of $50,640 and a projected annual gain of $10,969.78; the contract includes no guarantee.
The board also approved a five-year renewal with Xtel Services at an annual rate of $51,575.28 and authorized a one-time purchase of district telephones at $40,168.62. These recommendations were presented as items I and J and are recorded in the minutes with the motions moved Baker/Riley and the roll-call result recorded as all yes, 9-0.
The business-office approvals were moved by district officers and recorded in the minutes; the Board Secretary/School Business Administrator is authorized to complete the necessary contract documentation.
