At its Dec. 17 meeting the Byram Township Board of Education accepted the June 30, 2025 financial audit, which had been presented previously by Man Lee, partner at Nisivoccia LLP.
The board also approved a tuition contract with the Shepard School to provide special-education services for student #20141665 for the period Dec. 3, 2025 through June 30, 2026 at a tuition cost not to exceed $40,221.61. Additionally, the board approved amendments to previously authorized tuition contracts with Stanhope School for three students, with total amended costs recorded on the agenda ($57,345.90; $57,150.60; $65,753.35 respectively).
These actions were presented by the superintendent and business administrator and approved as part of the consent agenda. The contracts and amendments will be administered through the district’s special-education and business offices, and invoices will be reflected in future financial reports.
