Spring Lake Heights council approves consent agenda and renews shared court services, liquor licenses

The consent agenda (R2026-119 through R2026-123) included appointment of Megan Kass as secretary to the Board of Health, appointment of Moloughney, Brennan and Ciufo as Board of Health members, confirmation of Hourihan as a school crossing guard, approval of a temporary closure of a portion of Sussex Avenue, and authorization of a fireworks display at the Spring Lake Golf Club. The consent agenda passed on a single motion with all five voting members in favor.
Separately, Resolution R2026-124 authorized renewal of the shared-services agreement with Wall Township for municipal court services; R2026-125 approved renewal of the designated Alcoholic Beverage Control licenses; R2026-126 authorized the Tax Collector to process third-quarter estimated tax bills due August 1, 2026; and R2026-127 approved payment of the May 28, 2026 bills list. Each resolution was approved unanimously by the five members present.
Votes and roll-call language in the minutes show consistent recorded ayes from Councilman John Casagrande, Councilwoman Michele Degnan-Spang, Council President William Graetz, Councilwoman Sara King and Councilman Dayton Lonsdale; Councilman Leonard Capristo was absent for these items. No fiscal objections or abstentions were recorded for the listed resolutions in the meeting record.
