Spring Lake Heights council moves to executive session, awards traffic-calming contract and approves bills list

The council adopted Resolution R2026-63 to move into a brief executive session at 7:04 p.m.; the clerk recited that the Open Public Meetings Act (N.J.S.A. 10:4-12) permits such sessions for matters of confidentiality, and the resolution specified "Affordable Housing" as the topic. The executive session adjourned at 7:15 p.m., and the regular meeting reopened at 7:16 p.m.
Later in the meeting the council approved Resolution R2026-61, awarding a contract to Fernandes Construction for Wall Road traffic calming in the amount of $151,301.10 (motion by Councilman William Graetz, seconded by Councilwoman Michele Degnan-Spang). The council also approved Resolution R2026-62, accepting the February 27, 2026 bills list for payment (motion by Councilman John Casagrande, seconded by Councilman William Graetz). Both votes were recorded as unanimous (Ayes: Capristo, Casagrande, Degnan-Spang, Graetz, King, Lonsdale).
The meeting adjourned at 8:15 p.m.
