Tabernacle board approves personnel reimbursements, PD, coaching hires and student clinical placement

The Tabernacle Township Board of Education on Jan. 20 approved a package of personnel actions.
The board authorized course-reimbursement payments for staff who complete specified courses this semester (including Iyannah Goudy and Ashley Rogers), approved professional development attendance (Barbara Wisniewski, Jenna Grubb, Pamela Czekay), and accepted leave scheduling changes for employees identified on the agenda (employee IDs 4878 and 4025) with dates and return-to-work plans noted. The board approved a lateral movement for Ashley Rogers to BA+15 effective Feb. 1, 2026.
Extra-curricular appointments for the 2025–2026 school year included baseball coach Tom Crilley, softball coach Brittany Murro and track coaches David Stecher and Kayla Ritchings. The board also approved Clinical Practice I and II placement at Tabernacle Elementary School for Rowan University student Chris Volk (spring and fall placements listed on the agenda).
These personnel items were approved as presented; the motion on the personnel slate was moved by Dr. Kevin McCloy and seconded by Mr. Craig Kumpel and approved by roll call.
Next administrative steps include payroll adjustments, HR processing of credentials and follow-up with Rowan University on placement logistics.
