District Manager Chuck Adams reviewed the continued discussion of the FY2024/2025 budget, saying the budget remains solvent while the Board considered Mr. Blumenthal’s updated five‑year Capital Improvement Plan and potential transfers into cash sweep accounts for upcoming projects.
On a related capital item, Mr. Adams presented Estimate #C060-24 from MRI Construction for work on a Type 9 inlet top intended to prevent debris from blocking the structure; the proposal is for $10,692.88 and Staff noted an additional proposal is being obtained. The Board kept the Pine Hurst inlet item on the agenda for further consideration.
Mrs. Cleo Adams reminded the Board of the next meeting on Aug. 27, 2024 at 1:00 p.m., which will include the adoption of the FY2025 budget; supervisors confirmed expected attendance.
