The committee moved, seconded and approved an updated central‑office job description intended to replace the interim role following a recent administrative transition. Later in the meeting, members reviewed an itinerary and curriculum connections for an 8th‑grade trip to Washington, D.C., and voted to approve the trip as presented; staff noted travel insurance and an alternative program will be provided for students who do not travel.
