Shrewsbury plan commission tables August minutes, continues work on defining "structure"

The Shrewsbury Plan Commission on Sept. 25 voted to table approval of the Aug. 28, 2024 meeting minutes after noting the minutes did not include the Board of Aldermen. Commissioner Steve Loher moved to table the minutes and to add a public hearing for Grow Automotive; Commissioner Sneed seconded and the motion passed by unanimous voice vote.
In old business, commissioners reviewed recommendations from a subcommittee that drafted a revised definition of “structure.” Commissioner Loher thanked the subcommittee and City Clerk Katelyn Wands for assembling the materials, and Commissioner Miller summarized how the subcommittee developed its recommendations. Commissioners provided input and agreed to examine the proposals in more depth at the next Plan Commission meeting on Oct. 30, 2024.
Commissioner Powers moved to adjourn the Sept. 25 meeting; Commissioner Miller seconded. The motion carried by voice vote and the meeting adjourned.
