Resident raises safety concerns over TBS Waste trucks on residential street; manager cites upcoming intersection work

At the start of the May 5 meeting, resident Jani Johnson told the council that trucks from TBS Waste are using a residential street on 1st W. She said town code restricts large vehicles and trucks from residential roads and also asked for improved visibility where social-hall parking extends to the corner.
Manager Brian Richards addressed traffic concerns in the manager’s report, saying work at the Circle K intersection will begin in June and that he expects that work will reduce TBS Waste traffic using the residential road.
The council did not take formal action on the complaint at the meeting. No enforcement action, schedule of compliance, or specific safety upgrades were specified; staff described an upcoming construction project as the anticipated remedy.
