Needham Circle organizer pitches a community connector to boost local engagement

Proponents said Needham Circle's goals are complementary to the council's economic work: by driving foot traffic and emotional ties to the town, local events can support business retention and make other planning recommendations more effective. The group aims to build a searchable events repository and a business directory, aggregating listings from multiple organizations rather than replacing existing groups.
Council members welcomed the idea and encouraged collaboration with the Chamber of Commerce and other local partners; organizers said they will seek partners and volunteers for the September event and to help maintain the online repository.
