Collings Lakes board to transition invoicing and online payments to ACV; ballots for bylaw changes will be mailed with invoices

President Steve Slimm told members that ACV will assume invoicing responsibilities for the association and that ballots for proposed bylaw changes will be mailed with invoices so residents can review materials and vote.
Slimm said once ACV is handling billing, residents should be able to view their accounts online and make payments by credit card, debit card or check; the association will post ACV's mailing address and online instructions on its website and Facebook page. The board set an invoice due date of Feb. 1 with a 30-day grace period, meaning payments would be delinquent after March 1. Slimm noted there is a credit-card fee for some payment types.
Lynn Veneziale asked whether ACV must be added to the association's bonding insurance; Slimm said he will research the cost and report back. The board did not take a formal vote on bonding or related insurance at the meeting.
