Before the regular agenda the Borough of Ramsey moved out of order to perform a promotion and pinning ceremony for four members of the police department.
The mayor and council congratulated the promoted officers. The chief of police described Lieutenant Fury as a patrol backbone with 22 years of service and praised Lieutenant Michael Kanico as a versatile administrator who led communications and building projects. The chief also congratulated Sergeant Brian Paul and Sergeant Christopher Shane and said the promotions reflect the department's commitment to professionalism and leadership.
The mayor noted the promotions and thanked the officers and their families. No formal votes were required for the recognition; the recognitions were followed by routine agenda business.
