Quinton Planning Board elects chair, vice chair and appoints professionals for 2026

By motion of Board member John Allen, seconded by Nicholas Grusemeyer, the board appointed Planning Board Secretary Melissa Thom, Planning Board Solicitor William "Bill" Horner, Planning Board Conflict Solicitor Richard Coe Jr., and retained Land Dimension Engineering as the board's engineer and planner for 2026. The board took a roll call vote on the appointments and all eligible members present voted in favor.
The board also adopted administrative resolutions governing internal rules (Resolution 2026-01), the regular meeting schedule (Resolution 2026-02), and designating the SJ Times and the Elmer Times as the board's official newspapers (Resolution 2026-03). Additional resolutions (2026-04 through 2026-08) to formalize contracts with appointed professionals were presented and approved without discussion.
These organizational actions set the Planning Board's leadership and professional support for the calendar year and establish the procedural framework for board business going forward. The reorganization and appointments were recorded in roll call votes; no dissent was recorded in the minutes.
