On June 2 the Ballston Green Community Committee reviewed several local-waste and upcycling initiatives and assigned next steps to committee members. The committee instructed Silver and Jessie to prepare a proposal to establish town hall as a drop-off location (the group will regroup and provide an update at a future meeting). The committee also agreed to start collecting non-perishable items for use as decorations on the GCC Christmas tree and to continue saving appropriate upcycled or natural items.
Kelly was asked to check with David about a budget request to support decoration materials. The committee noted it will revisit local waste, compost, and recycling items in August to consider further action and logistics. These items were described as follow-up tasks rather than formal motions; no vote was recorded.
