The Riverside Township Board of Education met for a workshop on Sept. 12, 2024, in the Elementary School Media Center to review staffing needs, discuss implementation of ZeroEyes safety software and introduce new districtwide evaluation forms delivered through Google. The session opened at 6:30 p.m. with a roll call of board members and a flag salute led by Mrs. R. Wrice.
Mr. O’Brien, who announced the meeting’s public notice filings, stated that notice had been provided to the Courier Post and the Burlington County Times and posted at Riverside Town Hall on Jan. 14, 2024. Following procedural items, M. Adams discussed current staffing needs and reviewed the evening’s agenda. Adams also described the district’s planned implementation of ZeroEyes and outlined the software’s expected benefits to school safety and monitoring.
Ms. Saia presented an overview of new districtwide evaluation forms and formats that will be implemented using Google, describing the shift to electronic templates for evaluations. The board reviewed those agenda items and discussed next steps for staff follow-up and implementation timing.
The meeting ended on a motion by J. Sierra, seconded by R. Wrice, which carried unanimously to adjourn the workshop at 6:59 p.m. Robert O’Brien is listed as board secretary in the meeting minutes.
