The Weymouth Township Committee voted unanimously Oct. 2 to adopt four ordinances amending township code.
Ordinance 608-2024 amends Chapter 182 (Parks, Playgrounds and Recreational Areas); Ordinance 609-2024 amends Chapter 125 (Fees); Ordinance 610-2024 amends Chapter 155 (Land Use); and Ordinance 611-2024 amends Chapter 196 (Rental Property). Each ordinance was presented for second reading, the committee opened the floor for public comment and heard none, and then adopted each measure by roll call. Motions to conduct second readings and to adopt were recorded as Norton (mover) and Keiffenheim (seconder), with roll-call votes recorded as Norton-yes; Keiffenheim-yes; Haeser-yes.
The minutes do not list effective dates or substantive text changes beyond the chapters amended; the record shows the measures were approved on second reading and adopted by the committee.
