Riverside swears in new detective and deputy court administrator as committee accepts resignation

The resolutions state that Hynes has served with the department since April 2016 and "has met all the necessary qualifications to be appointed as a Detective," and that Ramos Lopez is "more than qualified" to assume deputy court administrator duties effective Aug. 19, 2024. The appointments were entered into the public record and certified by Clerk Dydek.
No additional discussion or dissent was recorded during the motions and subsequent oath-taking. The committee recessed briefly later in the meeting and reconvened to continue business.
