Riverside adopts ordinance authorizing stormwater easement over Block 602 lots

The Riverside Township Committee adopted Ordinance 2024‑#21 on second and final reading at its Sept. 16 meeting, authorizing the township to execute a stormwater drainage and facility easement across property identified as Block 602, Lots 2.02 and 2.04 on the municipal tax map.
Mayor Kimble opened a public hearing on the ordinance. No members of the public spoke, and the Committee moved to close the public portion. Committee member James Giovanetti moved the ordinance for final passage; John Marter seconded. The roll-call vote was Giovanetti, Mayor Kimble, Marter and Joseph Peditto in favor; Mr. Kirk was absent. The measure therefore passed on the second and final reading.
According to the ordinance title, the easement facilitates stormwater drainage and related facilities on the identified lots. The Committee did not elaborate further on the ordinance during the meeting and no letters or public objections were read into the record.
