The motion, made by Committee member James Giovanetti and seconded by Joseph Peditto, passed on a roll-call vote with Giovanetti, Mayor Kimble, John Marter and Peditto voting yes; Committee member Kirk was absent.
Township Clerk Susan M. Dydek then administered the oath of office to Parrish, making the appointment official pending the successful completion of a background investigation, as required by the resolution. The adopted resolution (2024‑#101) states the appointment is contingent on a satisfactory background check.
