The Woodstown Borough Council approved a multi-item consent agenda and took several routine actions at its May 12 meeting.
Council moved and unanimously approved the consent agenda, which included: minutes of the May 12 regular meeting and Feb. 24 closed session minutes related to the police contract; Resolution 2026-59 accepting four benches donated by the Rotary Club for Watson’s Park; approval of Lieutenant James LaPalomento’s 2026–2029 contract; and permission for Hope Cathedral to use Watson’s Park on July 11 for a church cookout for about 50 people with bathroom access. The motion to approve the consent agenda was made by Jesse Stemberger and seconded by Jaclyn Morris.
In finance business, the council approved a motion to pay bills (motion by Heather Bobbitt, seconded by James Hackett) by unanimous roll call. A public hearing on the municipal budget was opened for comment and closed with no public input; council members set final adoption of the budget for June 23, 2026.
The meeting also included routine announcements and ended with adjournment at 8:07 p.m.
