Rochelle Park board honors three departing trustees and thanks outgoing business administrator

The Rochelle Park Board of Education adopted resolutions honoring three trustees whose terms end in December 2024.
A resolution recognizing Board President Matthew Trawinski cited his service from January 2017 through December 2024 and thanked him for leadership and commitment; Trawinski thanked family and colleagues and reflected on putting students first. The board also adopted resolutions recognizing Jorge Martinez Jr. (trustee, Jan. 2022'Dec. 2024) and Charles Schaadt (trustee, Jan. 2023'Dec. 2024); trustees read the resolutions and offered brief remarks of appreciation.
Superintendent Dr. Sue DeNobile and trustees also thanked Business Administrator Dr. James Riley for his stewardship over the past two years; the minutes note Riley will remain in the district until Dec. 31, 2024 and that Michele Rainere is expected to begin in mid-January.
Theresa Judge Cravello, liaison to the township committee, spoke during general public comment to thank the board and administration and to wish departing staff well.
