Rochelle Park board sets 2025 meeting calendar and approves professional development contracts

The Rochelle Park Board of Education adopted its public meeting dates for 2025 and resolved to post the schedule on the district website, community bulletin board and to file notices with The Record and Our Town, and with the township clerk.
Trustees also approved a set of professional development items for staff. Individual approvals included attendance at conferences such as NJASA TECHSPO and an AI workshop in Paramus; the board approved presenters and vendor workshops for faculty, including a Kinesthetic Classroom program for $3,500 and Savvas enVision Math professional development for $3,700. Those curriculum and professional development resolutions (C1–C2) passed on a 5-0 roll call.
The meeting also noted benchmark assessment cycles in January and February and additional January/February professional development days to help teachers analyze data and adjust instruction.
