The Woodstown Borough Council discussed two regulatory ordinances at its June 8 meeting.
Solicitor Joseph DiNicola Sr. said he plans to meet with the Planning Board solicitor and the borough engineer to review details of a proposed Short-Term Dwelling Rental Ordinance (Ordinance 2026-6). Councilmembers held a general discussion of short-term rental regulation but did not take final action; additional review with planning officials was described as the next step.
Separately, the council considered Ordinance 2026-8, described in the minutes as an amendment to Chapter 67 (Land Development) that would list and confirm data centers as prohibited uses or structures in all zoning districts. Council referred that ordinance for potential adoption and scheduled its introduction for the June 23, 2026 meeting.
No votes to adopt either ordinance were recorded in the minutes for this session. The solicitor’s planned meetings with planning-board counsel and the borough engineer were presented as preparatory steps before formal introduction and adoption.
