Council backs Beautification Committee’s application for T-Mobile Hometown Grant

Woodstown Borough Council voted Feb. 24 to give the Beautification Committee a letter of support to pursue a T-Mobile Hometown Grant for a refurbished public patio at the N. Main Street entrance to borough parking.
Beautification Committee Chair Doug Hathaway and Vice Chair Trudy Parker presented the proposed patio plan and said the grant application deadline is March 31, 2026. Councilman Jesse Stemberger moved to provide a letter of support; the motion was seconded by Councilwoman Heather Bobbitt and approved by unanimous vote.
The minutes do not include the proposed project budget, the full scope of work, or whether the grant application has been drafted; those items would be handled by the Beautification Committee as they proceed with the grant submission.
