Urich aldermen approve financial report, bills and membership renewals; keep full auto insurance coverage

The Urich Board of Aldermen unanimously approved routine financial business at its Dec. 16, 2025 meeting, including the November 2025 Financial Report and payment of city bills.
Alderman Bill Harbstreet moved to approve the November financial report and Alderperson Belinda Jurdan seconded; the motion passed with all members recorded as "yea." Alderperson Pam Charles moved to approve payment of the bills; Alderperson Belinda Jurdan seconded and the board voted unanimously.
The board considered a quote from Mike Keith proposing a switch from full coverage to liability for city vehicles. Alderman Harbstreet moved and Alderperson Jurdan seconded a motion to retain full auto coverage; the motion passed unanimously.
The board also approved membership renewals with the Missouri Municipal League (motion by Bill Harbstreet, seconded by Pam Charles), the Missouri Rural Water Association (motion by Pam Charles, seconded by Bill Harbstreet), and Missouri Typewriter Co. of Warrensburg (motion by Pam Charles, seconded by Bill Harbstreet). All membership renewals were recorded as unanimously approved in the minutes.
No contested votes or dissents were recorded in the official minutes. The board adjourned at 7:50 p.m.
