Bedminster approves cap-bank ordinance and routine resolutions; bond anticipation notes authorized

The committee also approved several routine resolutions by roll call, including: - Resolution 202569 to reauthorize direct-payment agreements (the long-standing Kelly Bill arrangement) with neighborhood associations that return signed agreements; DPW completed a GPS/photo inventory of streetlights to update the list of participating neighborhoods. - Resolution 202573 to execute a two-year memorandum of agreement among neighboring municipalities and the sewer transmission advisory board for daily sewer transmission system management (backdated to Jan. 1, 2025). - Resolution 2025074 authorizing issuance of bond anticipation notes not to exceed $699,400 to fund vehicular equipment purchases; the committee noted the BANs are part of previously discussed budget planning and include financing for a fire truck whose previous BAN matures in May.
All listed motions passed on roll-call votes with each member recorded voting in the affirmative. Several members noted typographical corrections needed in advertising language on some documents; staff said those corrections would be made before publication.
