Trustee L. Jaruzel reported Planning Commission concerns about inspection records for a gravel pit special land use permit and said the permit requires the Supervisor to inspect the site twice a year. Jaruzel told the board she witnessed 36 trucks in two days entering the gravel pit covered and leaving uncovered, and asked the Supervisor to look into the complaint.
Supervisor R. Loomis described his inspection process, saying he goes out with R. Gillig who shows him equipment and demonstrates compliance; Loomis said he follows up on complaints when they arise. The board discussed creating a standardized inspection form for the Supervisor to use; Clerk Jackie Sabgash will draft a form for review.
The board did not take formal enforcement action during the meeting but recorded that Loomis will investigate the uncovered-truck complaint and that the Clerk will prepare inspection documentation for future use.
