Millington Township to begin accepting short-term rental special land use applications July 16; civil infraction changes tabled pending public hearing

Green, to begin accepting special land use permit applications for short-term rentals at 8 a.m. Tuesday, July 16, 2024; that motion carried unanimously.
Members also discussed the township’s revised short-term rental application form. The minutes note that the board agreed a notice should be provided to all short-term rental applicants informing them of a current lawsuit concerning the proposed short-term rental amendments. Jaruzel), authorization for the Zoning Administrator to attend two MTA trainings at a total cost of $125 (motion passed with Jaruzel, Green, Keinath, Sabgash and Loomis voting aye), and the appointment of Sheila Hebner as the Millington Township representative to the Southern Links Rail Trail (motion by L. Jaruzel, support by S. Keinath). The meeting adjourned at 6:43 p.m.
