A commissioner relayed a resident complaint about landscapers and delivery trucks parking at corners (notably 45th Street and Federal Highway), blocking sight lines and creating hazards for school drop-off routes; staff confirmed parking restrictions exist near intersections and said they would follow up with the police chief on enforcement.
Commissioners thanked staff for work on infrastructure projects and noted that nearly $7 million in infrastructure spending is planned or expected to be completed over the next 12 months as part of the adopted budget.
Next steps: staff will confirm paving dates as weather allows, coordinate removal of MOT and final inspections on bridges, and consult with police on parking-enforcement steps for hazardous corner parking.
