Chairman Deb Craft called the meeting to order, and Commissioner Dave Neves led the Pledge of Allegiance. Commissioner Bruce Jolley moved to accept the agenda as presented; the motion was seconded and carried, the minutes state but do not name the seconder or record a vote tally.
Craft announced that the commission had chosen a candidate to fill the vacant position of Big Horn County Assessor and Jolley moved to appoint Cozette Winters to the post. The motion was seconded and carried; the minutes do not identify who seconded the motion or provide a roll-call vote or tally.
County Clerk Lori Smallwood then administered the oath of office to Winters. Craft said the commission had been pleased to have Winters on staff and now as the appointed assessor.
