Douglas County’s senior services staff presented the county’s annual aging subgrant agreement with the Atlanta Regional Commission for the period July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2027.
The award listed in the agenda was $795,077.48 with an in-kind match of $50,009.83 and a $0.76 line item, to be funded through the senior services department's budget. The presenter said the grant supports home-delivered meals, congregate meals, respite care, home modifications, assistive technology and nonemergency medical transportation and other services for older adults.
Commissioners had no substantive questions during the work session; staff said the item will proceed through the normal legal review and execution process.
