Rumson-Fair Haven board approves $623,366.93 bill list, SLEO shared service and $2,000 New York Giants donation

Cranston presented the bill lists dated Aug. 22, 2025 showing totals by fund (General Fund $390,365.97; Special Revenue $121.99; Capital Projects $229,036.50; Food Services $87.25; Unemployment $3,755.22) for a subtotal of $623,366.93. The board also approved the submission of the FY2026 Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA) Title I grant application (allocation listed as $9,631) and authorized acceptance of the funds if approved by the New Jersey Department of Education. The board approved a shared-service contract with the Borough of Rumson to provide an SLEO (School Law Enforcement Officer) for the 2025-26 school year, and accepted a $2,000 donation from the New York Giants to support the district's flag football team.
On a motion by Mrs. Whitehouse, seconded by Mr. Page, the finance items were approved by unanimous roll call.
What's next: The ESEA funding is subject to approval by the New Jersey Department of Education; the shared-service SLEO agreement will be administered via the Borough contract. No additional financial details or vendor contract terms were provided in the minutes.
