At its July 14 meeting the Rutherford Mayor and Council approved several administrative resolutions, including a resolution authorizing the borough administrator to terminate a shared-services agreement for construction-code official services with East Rutherford and Carlstadt, and a separate resolution awarding a contract for building-envelope repairs at Borough Hall in the amount of $412,000.
Resolution 158 authorized termination of the shared-services agreement; council moved and passed the resolution by roll call. Resolution 161 awarded the building-envelope repair contract in the amount specified; that resolution also passed by roll call. The meeting record shows unanimous recorded support among council members present for these actions.
Council also enacted the consent agenda (with one noted exception on minutes where a member had been absent) to approve routine items and confirmed mayoral appointments including Erin Pricino’s permanent civil-service status as assistant purchasing agent effective July 15, 2025, and summer-camp transportation staff appointments.
Officials did not provide detailed line-item budget language on the record July 14; the borough administrator and clerk will circulate contract documents and next steps for project scheduling and oversight to council in subsequent staff reports.
