SALEM, N.J. — At the public comment portion of the Salem City Common Council meeting on Feb. 23, former Councilman Vaughn Groce asked when the city would present land-bank and housing information to the public.
Sean Brown, the city’s director of housing and economic development, responded: "We are awaiting the IN-REM list, as soon as it is available it will be shared with the public." When asked about the status of the redevelopment plan noted on the agenda, Brown said the subject "will be discussed in closed session and then addressed in the next public session if any updates are needed at that time." The minutes record that the council moved into executive session at 6:15 p.m.
