Brown County appoints election officials to oversee destruction of prior ballots

Brown County Election Officer Nicole Lee asked the board to approve Democrats Carrie Potter (alternate Barb Grabhorn) and Republicans Deana Long (alternate Tami Lehmkuhl) to oversee the destruction. Commissioner Lucas Heinen moved to approve the appointments; Commissioner Richard Tesoriero seconded and the motion carried. The vendor Paper Eaters will shred the ballots under the officials' supervision and provide a certificate of destruction.
