Saddle River board approves consent items and adds state resolution urging relief from rising employee health‑care costs

The Saddle River School District Board of Education voted unanimously at its meeting to approve routine consent items in administration, human resources, education and finance, and to add a New Jersey School Boards Association resolution urging relief from rising public‑school employee health‑care costs to the agenda.

Motions to approve the minutes of the regular and executive meeting of April 29, 2026, and multiple consent items (administration items 825260501–507; human resources HR25260501–510; education items E25260050901–511; finance items F25260501–517) were moved, seconded and approved by roll call. Roll calls recorded recorded 'yes' votes from all five board members present.

Under new business, a board member moved to add a model resolution from the New Jersey School Boards Association urging relief from rising school employee health‑care costs; the board voted to place that resolution on the agenda and approved the motion to add it by roll call. A copy of the sample resolution was made available to the public upon request.

The board then moved to enter executive session; that motion passed on a voice vote. The public session concluded after routine approvals and the agenda addition.
