The Town of Cedar Fort Cemetery Committee heard an update on June 1 that the cemetery website project is nearly complete and state grant paperwork is ready to submit.
Staff member Wyatt told the Committee the website is "approximately 99% complete," and that a final review meeting with consultant Amy Berry is scheduled for June 24 at 9:00 a.m. He said the required documentation for the state grant has been completed and is ready for submission, and the remaining work centers on reconciling financial records and ensuring grant expenditures are properly documented.
Chair Andra Carter relayed that she contacted Mayor Cook during the meeting for a status check on the Cemetery Grant Project. Committee members expressed appreciation for the work on the website and grant administration and were invited to attend the June 24 review meeting if interested.
No formal motion or vote was taken on the grant at the meeting.
