The Northport Public School Board approved payment of bills totaling $241,570.54 and hired Patrick LaFlamme as a custodian during its Nov. 10 regular meeting. The agenda was adopted at the start of the meeting after a motion by board member Ryan Blessing, supported by Danielle Percy; both motions were recorded as carried 6-0.
The consent agenda—approved by consensus—also included approval of the Oct. 13, 2025 regular meeting minutes. The board did not record a mover or seconder for the consent items in the minutes; the packet states the consent agenda was "approved by consent." The roll call showed six members present: Tom Wetherbee, Ryan Blessing, Ben Purdy, Danielle Percy, Benjamin Hale and Jamie Scripps; Dan Duffiney was absent.
President Ben Purdy called the meeting to order at 5:30 P.M. and the meeting adjourned at 6:30 P.M. after a motion to adjourn by Ryan Blessing, supported by Danielle Percy. No other formal action items or votes were recorded in the minutes for Nov. 10.
The board will continue routine oversight items and begin superintendent and certified-staff contract negotiation discussions ahead of the June 30 deadline, a topic noted later in the meeting by President Purdy.
