Council authorizes up to $3,000 per truck to repair two fire engines

"Allow Spencer Manufacturing to repair the electrical issues on trucks #813 and #817 at a cost not to exceed $3,000.00 per truck," the motion recorded in the minutes said. Commissioner Walker moved the motion; Commissioner Joseph Davis supported it and the council approved the work 7-0.
Following that item the council approved payment of the bills as presented on the consent portion of the agenda (motion by Commissioner Joe Hoffdahl, supported by Commissioner Joseph Davis; motion carried 7-0). The votes were recorded in the minutes as 7-0, and the minutes do not list line-item invoices or final repair totals.
