The revision had been previously approved on Aug. 21, 2024 and was presented for formal acceptance at this meeting.
The board also authorized the chief school administrator to submit a waiver of the Special Education Medicaid Initiative (SEMI) for the 2025-2026 school year under N.J.A.C. 6A:23A-5.3. The waiver request was justified on the basis that the district projects fewer than 40 Medicaid-eligible classified students for the 2025-2026 budget year, a statutory threshold for SEMI participation. The resolution delegates submission to the Executive County Superintendent in Monmouth County.
Both items were part of the consent agenda and were approved on a voice vote; no public comment was recorded.
