Councilmember Lynnette Nash moved to approve the transfers and Councilmember Jim Potter seconded the motion; the council recorded a 5‑0 vote in favor. Council also directed removal of a previously planned $1,200 general transfer to the Economic Development Authority and postponed additional transfers for the Fire Department until City Clerk‑Treasurer Gretchen Lohrbach can review whether the requested amounts can be reduced.
City Clerk‑Treasurer Gretchen Lohrbach told the council she will draft and bring a revised resolution to the next meeting to reflect the council’s adjustments. The transfers recorded in the approved resolution will be logged in the city’s 2025 financial records to align budgetary reporting with actual expenditures.
