Board adopts boundary adjustment and Mari de Villa site plan; Mari de Villa architectural review approved

Bill No. 26‑04, approving a boundary adjustment plat for 1285 and 1297 Dry Ridge Road, was read for the second time and, after a motion by Alderman Gerber and a second by Alderman Schwoerer, passed on a roll call vote of seven in favor, none opposed and one member absent (Alderman Sawyer). The bill became Ordinance No. 4732.
Mayor Rehm recused himself from deliberation and voting on Bill No. 26‑05 and left the dais. Acting President Murphy presided while the Board took up Bill No. 26‑05, an ordinance approving an amended final site development plan for Mari de Villa at 13900 Clayton Road. Alderman Harder moved and Alderman Schwoerer seconded; the roll call vote was seven AYE, none NAY, and the motion carried. Bill No. 26‑05 became Ordinance No. 4733. The Board then approved the Architectural Review of Mari de Villa on a voice vote.
Mayor Rehm returned to the dais and presided for the remainder of the meeting. New business items including the CUP for 12545 Amersham Court and an amendment to the municipal building code’s public notice requirements (Bill No. 26‑07) were given first reading and continued to the March 9 meeting.
Next step: Ordinances 4732 and 4733 are effective following certification; the Board will resume consideration of Bills 26‑06 and 26‑07 at the March 9 meeting.
