Board honors limerick winners and Crystal Apple staff awardees

Broadbrook administrators introduced Selena Anderson, described in the nomination as a behavior technician who greets students daily and supports the school’s MTSS behavioral systems. Middle-school staff recognized Mr. Richard for 28 years of service in the school community and for consistent support across activities. At the high school level, Heather Sodell was praised for leading the Discovery program and serving on instructional leadership teams and committees related to special education and school climate.
Board members invited recipients and student winners for photographs and publicly thanked them for their service and accomplishments. No board action was required; the recognitions were ceremonial.
