Ridgetop board adopts budget amendment, appoints planning members and okays park paving and sewer study

The Ridgetop Mayor and Board of Aldermen on May 19 adopted Ordinance 2026-104, a budget amendment to Budget Ordinance No. 2025-104 for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2025 and ending June 30, 2026.
Alderman Gregory moved to adopt the ordinance and Alderman Senft seconded; the motion carried with all present voting aye.
The board also appointed Sam Rider and Dan Russell to the Planning and Zoning Board. Alderman Gregory moved the appointments and Vice Mayor Gilmore seconded; the motion carried with all present voting aye.
The governing body authorized a sewer system rate study in the amount of $10,000 with Rate Studies (the vendor named in the motion). Alderman Gregory moved the authorization and Alderman Senft seconded; the measure passed unanimously.
In separate business the board accepted a paving bid from Cedar Ridge Services for work at Pioneer Park, approving the contract at $27,995. Alderman Gregory made the motion, Alderman Senft seconded and the vote was unanimous.
The board also voted to change the June city meeting date from June 16 to June 8, 2026.
All recorded motions during the meeting were carried with the record noting “Voting Aye: All.” No roll-call variations or nay votes were recorded in the transcript.
The meeting adjourned after completion of the listed agenda items.
