Mayor and Board of Aldermen appoint Russell Freeman as city attorney; adopt mayoral pre-approval for general-fund purchases

Earlier in the meeting Alderman Rider moved to approve the Dec. 18, 2018 minutes; Alderman Deweese seconded and the motion carried with all voting aye. Vice Mayor Johnson moved that any purchases charged to the general fund be approved by the mayor prior to purchase; Alderman Rider seconded and the motion carried with all voting aye.
Council scheduled a workshop for Feb. 18, 2019 at 6:00 p.m. The meeting then moved to citizens comments and adjourned.
