The resolution grew out of a request circulated among municipal boards, the chair said, and the board did not indicate any planned follow-up beyond filing the adoptive resolution. The item was presented alongside routine communications and procedural notices at the start of the meeting.
The vote record was read into the record by roll call; no amendments to the resolution were offered in the discussion. The board did not identify any direct responses from state legislators during the meeting.
The board’s action is an advisory position from the planning board and does not, by itself, change local ordinances. The next public meeting of the board is scheduled for Jan. 26, when members will take up affordable-housing submissions and other regular business.
